RoHS Compliance

Acron has been fully RoHS compliant since 2006. All products manufactured by each of our factories comply with the RoHS regulations and certificates of compliance are available upon request.

REACH

As of June 2010 Article 33 (1) of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (“REACH”) restricts the levels of 18 substances to 0.1% by weight. Acron has researched through questionnaires to all of our raw material suppliers and believes that all products produced by Acron factories fully comply with REACH criteria.

China RoHS

Acron products are manufactured to be incorporated into other products and as such are not subject to the labelling requirements of China RoHS.  While fully complying with the criteria regulating restricted substances in the products we do not label them separately for China RoHS requirements.

Halogen Free Products:

Acron understands that there is a movement to restrict halogens in products. We are able to provide most products halogen free when required. Halogen, however, is a common flame retardent material which is a cost effective means of attaining the necessary UL approvals. If you do require Halogen free connectors please contact us and we will determine suitable plastics for the application.

DecaBDE

All Acron products manufactured by each of our factories comply with the elimination of DecaBDE as set forth by the European Court of Justice decision of  April 1, 2008

Future Environmental Restrictions:

Acron is commited to reducing our environmental footprint and will continue to work towards becoming a greener corporation. All future regulations will be researched and adhered to whenever possible. We will continue to update this page if and when any new regulations affecting our products are developed.
