HOME > Design Capabilities Acron has engineering departments in their headquarters as well as departments in each of the manufacturing locations. Interconnect applications is our focus and we have a vast amount of experience and knowledge designing products for both standard applications and specifically for our customers.
- In Taiwan our director of Engineering oversees a department of 6 design engineers. All engineers have degrees from well known universities as well as experience designing connectors either gained through Acron or other well known connector manufacturers. Our design team also has a separate team of R& D engineers.
- Acron China location has a team of 29 engineers. Our team of engineers consists of 6 design engineers, 15 tooling engineers & 8 quality engineers.
- Ammi China location has a team of 16 engineers. Our team consists of 3 design engineers, 8 tooling engineers & 5 quality engineers
- Nuconn China location has a team of 31 engineers. Our team consists of 5 design engineers, 19 tooling engineers & 7 quality engineers.
Our engineers have the flexibility of sharing information amongst our various manfacturing sites and headquarters either directly on a common server or through file sharing via email. This ensures that there is no delay on any projects which require team members from various locations. It also ensures that information during the design phase can be shared with our customer’s engineering staff in real time.
Acron’s engineering team regularly is called upon to develop new products in one of these three situations.
Designing products for customer specific applications of target markets from either a given set of parameters or conceptual guidelines is where Acron excells. Our design team will develop the most suitable connector on our customer’s behalf ensuring that it meets any and all requirements of the specific application.
Co-Designing products in conjunction with our customer’s engineering department is one of Acron’s greatest strengths.
